Introduction of Jo Lim and auDA

Jo Lim is auDA’s Chief Operations and Policy Officer. She has been with auDA since 2001. She has overseen or drafted all of auDA’s policies to date and ensures auDA runs smoothly. Prior to joining auDA, she worked in government policy. Her major project was assisting the draft of Australia’s Federal Telecommunications Act. Jo also sits on the auDA Board as Company Secretary.

.au Domain Administration (auDA) is the policy authority and industry self-regulator for the .au domain. It is a not-for-profit company endorsed by the Federal Government. auDA educates and informs the public about the .au domain, sets policy, engages with stakeholders and accredits .au registrars. auDA does not provide registry services; this function is up for tender. The .au registry is currently AusRegistry Pty. Ltd. auDA signed a sponsorship agreement with ICANN in 2001. Internationally, auDA is a member of APTLD and ICANN’s ccNSO, an associate member of CENTR and participates in the IGF.
