The 3rd ICANN APAC- TWNIC Engagement Forum took place on Thu 12 and Fri 13 May 2022. The Forum will also feature the 37th TWNIC IP Open Policy Meeting through programming collaboration with APNIC. A quick overview and some sessions/topics: Thu 12 May High-level opening plenary (12 May 0245-0415 UTC) – On global public interest and the Internet’s future, the plenary features speakers like ICANN Board member Edmon Chung, ALAC Chair Maureen Hilyard, and APNIC Chief Scientist Geoff Huston. Technical sessions, e.g. on DNS resolver best practices, handling security threats etc. Fri 13 May DNS abuse session (13 May 0600-0715 UTC) – Continues from last year’s Forum discussion on the topic and focuses on the jurisdiction of domain name abuse.
