Yesterday, in partnership with ACCAN and the Council of Small Business Organisations Australia, we hosted a roundtable to launch the auDA Digital Lives of Australians 2024 report.
Keith McGowan from SEC Newgate presented on key findings and we heard from Rosemary Sinclair, Tanya Karliychuk and Matthew Addison. We were also joined by stakeholders from government, industry, civil society and academia. Together, we had a rich discussion about the research and how we can use it to support improvements for Australian consumers and small businesses online.

This phishing domain impersonating a financial institution and requesting user credentials was reported to CleanDNS less than 3 hours after its initial registration. Within the hour, CleanDNS analysts took action on the domain for mitigation and prevented further victimization.
