APTLD and ICANN held the Groundbreaking Webinar on UA

As a part of a new joint initiative conducted under the MoU APTLD and ICANN have successfully held the groundbreaking webinar on Universal Acceptance for the APTLD membership and the APAC community.

Delivered by Sarmad Hussain, ICANN’s Senior Director for IDN & UA Programs, and Champika Wijayatunga, the APAC Regional Technical Engagement Manager, the webinar walked the audience through ways and means of configuring for Email Address Internationalization (EAI).

Held in an interactive mode, the online training enabled the audience to participate in a blitz quiz and pose meaningful questions about EAI fundamentals and tips and tricks.

The webinar has also built on the APTLD’s How-To Webinar series launched in 2020 in response to the change of the environment and operation under COVID-19.
