< back to listThe Asia Pacific Top-Level Domain Association (APTLD) invites applications for the APTLD90 Fellowship Program, supporting participation in the APTLD90 Members’ Meeting to be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from 14-17 September 2026. The meeting will be hosted by Datacom (.MN).
The APTLD Fellowship provides selected candidates with: Economy-class round-trip airfare; Hotel accommodation for the duration of the event; Daily per diem as per APTLD fellowship policy to cover meals and incidental expenses.

Applicants should clearly explain
- 1. Active Contribution: How you plan to contribute to the success of APTLD90, including participation in sessions, moderation, or program development.
- 2. Expected Benefits: Key outcomes you seek, and how you intend to apply new knowledge and connections in your local context.
- 3. Outreach: How you plan to promote APTLD and its mission both before and after the meeting.
- 4. Strategic Alignment: Your contribution to advancing APTLD’s Internet for All statement and its strategic objectives.
- 5. A letter of recommendation from the applicant’s employer, and from a member of an APTLD Working Group if the applicant has participated in one.
Eligibility Criteria
- 1. APTLD Ordinary and Associate Members from developing economies or ccTLDs with fewer than 50,000 domain registrations.
- 2. APTLD Ordinary and Associate Member Individuals who believe they are wellpositioned to contribute meaningfully to the APTLD meeting, community and its mission.
- 3. The applicant’s membership fee must be paid or officially waived before the application deadline.
- 4. Applicants who received an APTLD Fellowship in or after February 2024 are not eligible.
- 5. Applicants who received approval from their respective employers.
- 6. Fellows are personally responsible for applying for and securing the appropriate visa to attend the APTLD meeting.
- 7. Fellows must apply for the visa immediately after selection and Inform APTLD Fellowship staff about visa status. If a visa is denied or significantly delayed, the fellowship offer may be withdrawn or deferred.
Expectations from Fellows
- 1. Hold a valid passport with sufficient validity for international travel
- 2. Attend online prep meeting
- 3. Attend pre-meeting onsite training
- 4. Participate fully in APTLD90 sessions from entire period
- 5. Present or moderate at least two sessions
- 6. May be requested to help during the meeting
- 7. Provide a reflection during the closing session
- 8. Submit a post-meeting survey evaluating their experience within two weeks
- 9. Submit a written testimonial (up to 500 words) for publication within two weeks
- 10. Contribute to an APTLD Working Group or initiative following the event
- 11. Actively support ongoing APTLD outreach and capacity building
- 12. Respond to deadlines and coordinate travel/logistics promptly
