On 9 September 2021, the APTLD Board held a regular teleconference meeting, which was attended by all the Board Members, and considered a range of matters. A summary of the Meeting is published in this document.

Review of the joint APTLD80-PAC IGF outcomes

The Board reviewed the APTLD80-PAC IGF outcomes and recognized the joint event a success, and commended the Organizing Group, moderators and presenters/ panelists, and sponsors for their contribution.

Progress in Preparations for APTLD81

The Board received the GM’s update and suggested GM share the APTLD81 agenda with the Membership under the public comments period through 30 September 2021.

Execution of the 2021 APTLD Budget

The Board took notice of the GM’s update and concluded that the budget is in a healthy state.

Review of GM’s Update on the Situation at AFRINic and a Possible Assistance to the RIR

The Board received the GM’s update on the present challenging legal and fiscal circumstances of AFRINic, and suggested GM acquire more information on the trustees that will receive and manage the possible contribution.

The Board also discussed other administrative and financial matters.
