Summary of the Board Meeting Minutes (15 June 2022)

On 15 June 2022, the APTLD Board held a regular teleconference meeting, which was attended by all the Board Members and considered a range of matters. A summary of the Meeting is published in this document.

GM’s Update on Progress in Preparations for APTLD82

The Board received the GM’s update on preparations for the upcoming Members Meeting and noted a notable positive dynamic of the process.

Selection of Vendors for APTLD82

The Board reviewed competitive bids and selected a number of local and overseas service providers for the Meeting. The Board specifically noticed a strict observance of the SOP on finance and procurement.

GM’s Update on Reincorporation Process

The Board noticed with satisfaction a significant progress in the matter and expressed gratitude to Chair Ai-chin Lu and Vice Chair Erhan Karabardak for their proactive contribution to the process.

GM’s Update on the 2022 Budget

The Board received the GM’s update on the matter and concluded that the budget is executed in line with the original projections.

KISA and GM’s Proposal to Renew APIGA Fellowship Program

The Board examined the KISA’s proposal to award 2 Fellowships for APIGA 2022 supported by GM and agreed to it, and suggested GM promptly launch a Call for APIGA2022 Fellowships with the deadline of 30 June 2022.

APrIGF Chair’s Request for Sponsorship

The Board reviewed the request and ruled to earmark USD 1,500 in sponsorship of the Nextgen leaders’ participation in APrIGF as a re-allocation of the originally budgeted sponsorship of the Pacific IGF. The Board suggested GM take all the necessary measures to ensure transparency and accountability of the consumption of the funding.

APTLD82 Fellowships

The Board suggested the Call for Fellowships should be closed per the original schedule and applications should be shared with the Board to review them and select APTLD82 Fellows.

The Board also discussed other administrative and financial matters.
