GM’s Update on Progress in Preparations for APTLD83 and Its Budget
The Board took notice of the update and suggested GM and staff continue a proactive engagement with the community to ensure an expedited filling out speaking slots at the Meeting; the Board agreed to Gransy’s proposal to hold an on-site extra training session on Anycast DNS as a pilot project on the eve of the Meeting. to be able to benchmark their efficiency against each other’s.
GM’s Update on the 2022 Budget
The Board received the GM’s update on the matter and took notice of a preliminary projected end-year surplus.
GM’s Update on Progress in Putting APTLD Ltd (Singapore) in Operation (Jointly with the APTLD Ltd Board)
The Board took notice of the GM’s update and noted with satisfaction a successful conduct of an EGM, choice of auditor and progress in the end-year reporting to the local authorities, as well as some progress in negotiations with potential banks in Singapore.
Consideration of the updated FY2023 Draft Budget.
The Board considered conservative and moderate scenarios of the updated FY2023 Draft Budget and concluded to postpone its adoption until the next meeting in December The Board also requested further clarifications with regard to certain expenditure items, including APTLD84 in the first place.
Review of the Draft 2023 Board Election Schedule
The Board received the Secretariat’s update on the upcoming Board Election and approved the Board Schedule, and suggested it be shared with the Ordinary Membership to follow up on it.
Review of GM’s Performance and the GM Contract
Upon an extensive review of GM’s performance in 2021-2022 the Board found it satisfactory and concluded to renew the GM contract for 2023-4
The Board also considered other administrative and financial matters.
