Summary of the Board Meeting Minutes (17 January 2024)

On 17 January 2024, the APTLD Board held a regular meeting, which was attended by all Board Members, with 1 of them having left earlier due to prior commitments, and voted on a number of matters. A summary of the meeting is published in this document.

GM’s Update on APTLD85

The Board took notice of the fully populated agenda and a high turnout for the Meeting and suggested GM and the Secretariat focus on logistics and preparations for the AGM.

Secretariat ‘s Board Elections Progress Update

The Board received the Secretariat’s update and concluded that the 2024 elections were conducted in full compliance with the constitution, and expressed gratitude to the Secretariat for the efficient work. The Board also congratulated Director-elects.

Review of the 2024 Budget Execution Update

The Board received the GM’s update and concluded that the budget is implemented in line with the original projections.

Review of the Draft 2024 AGM Agenda and Draft Resolutions

The Board reviewed the documents and supported the Agenda and draft resolutions and added certain comments and updates, and suggested the Secretariat share the final update with the Ordinary membership in a timely manner in the lead up to the AGM.

Review of the Legal Counsellor’s Comments and Updates to the Draft APTLD Constitution and By-Laws

The Board reviewed the submission and agreed with the updates and suggested that the updated documents should be shared with the Ordinary Membership as a part of the background materials for the AGM.

Review of the Chair’s 2023 Annual Report to the Membership

The Board reviewed and endorsed the document and suggested adding certain comments and updates, and suggested that it should be shared with the Ordinary Membership as a part of the background materials for the AGM.

Cessation of .WF and Identity Digital’s Membership in APTLD

The Board considered the GM’s submission on both cases and ruled that in compliance with the Constitution, .WF and Identity Digital’s Membership in APTLD should be ceased with an immediate effect.

The Board also considered other administrative and financial matters.
