Summary of the Board Meeting Minutes (3 October 2024)

On 3 October 2024, the APTLD Board held its extraordinary online meeting, which was
attended by all Directors, and considered the progress in implementation of the GM Selection
and Succession Plan. A summary of the Meeting is published in this document.

Consideration of Further Steps in the Implementation of the GM Selection Plan
The Board discussed the matter and agreed on the schedule and methodology of interviews of the
shortlisted candidates, and underscored the importance of a standardized set of questions to
allow an objective and consistent scoring of their responses. The Board agreed that Directors
should examine a potential conflict of interest prior to taking part in the interview process.
The Board also agreed to finalize such a set of questions based on individual Directors’ input by
6 October 2024.

The Board suggested GM and Secretariat develop a schedule of interviews with shortlisted
candidates with a view of completing them by mid-November 2024, as per the original GM
Selection Plan timelines.
