< back to listOn 25 March 2026, the APTLD Board held its additional online meeting to further discuss on APTLD secretariat contract. The meeting was attended by six (6) Board Directors (one with partial attendance). A summary of the Meeting is published in this document.
Development of Job Descriptions
The GM will draft updated job descriptions for the Secretariat and GM, in consultation with the Secretariat, for Board review, to ensure alignment with the Board’s expectations, including areas such as outreach and reporting.
Contractual Review
Should the revised job descriptions introduce incremental or expanded responsibilities beyond the current scope, a contract amendment will be required, with all changes clearly identified.
Financial Considerations
Financial discussions will follow once the Board has agreed on the revised scope and terms, ensuring alignment between responsibilities and resourcing.
Next Steps and Timing
The Board will continue to progress these matters, including further discussion at the upcoming April meeting, with a view to concluding prior to the current contract expiry.
